Efek Akut Latihan Interval Intensitas Moderat dan Latihan Kontinyu Intensitas Moderat Terhadap Tekanan Darah, Denyut Nadi dan Saturasi Oksigen pada Remaja Pria yang Sehat

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh latihan interval dan continuous intensitas sedang terhadap tekanan darah, heart rate, dan saturasi oksigen pada laki-laki remaja yang sehat. Sebanyak 14 remaja laki-laki usia 21-25 tahun, indeks massa tubuh (IMT) 18.5 – 22.9 kg/m2, tidak memiliki riwayat penyakit kronis terlibat dengan sukarela dalam penelitian. Secara random subjek dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu MIIE (n = 7, moderate-intensity interval exercise), MICE (n = 7, moderate-intensity continuous exercise). Interval exercise dimulai dengan pemanasan, yaitu berlari di atas treadmill pada intensitas 50%-55% HRmax selama 5 menit, lalu di tambah 2 menit pada intensitas 65%-70% HRmax. Selanjutnya berlari di atas treadmill menggunakan metode interval dengan intensitas 65%-70% HRmax sebanyak 4 set, dengan kerja 4 menit intensitas 65%-70% dan diselingi 3 menit pemulihan aktif pada 50%-55% HRmax antara setiap interval dan diakhiri dengan pendinginan selama 5 menit pada intensitas 50%-55% HRmax. Continuous exercise dilakukan dengan berlari di atas treadmill dengan rincian latihan, yaitu pemanasan selama 5 menit menggunakan treadmill, dengan intensitas 50%-55% HRmax dan dilanjutkan berlari secara terus-menerus di atas treadmill dengan intensitas 65%-70% selama 30 menit. Latihan diakhiri dengan pendinginan selama 5 menit dengan intensitas 50%-55% HRmax. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji beda Mann-Whitney Test dengan software SPSS versi 21. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan tekanan darah, heart rate, dan saturasi oksigen antara pre-exercise, post-exercise, dan pasca 1 jam latihan pada MIIE dan MICE (p > 0.05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa moderate-intensity interval exercise maupun moderate-intensity continuous exercise tidak memiliki pengaruh yang bermakna pada tekanan darah, heart rate, dan saturasi oksigen.
