BASELINE CHARACTERISTICS OF TREATED AND UNTREATED PEOPLE WITH HYPERTENSION

Abstract


Hipertensi masih merupakan masalah kesehatan dunia yang angka mortalitas dan morbiditasnya masih tinggi, akan tetapi angka penderita hipertensi yang tidak berobat ke fasilitas kesehatan masih tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran karakteristik penderita hipertensi yang berobat dengan yang tidak berobat di fasilitas kesehatan Wilayah Kabupaten Sumenep. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah penderita hipertensi atau individu yang memiliki tekanan darah tinggi dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Dari total sampel (n=59) didapatkan 62,71% termasuk individu yang melakukan pengobatan ke fasilitaas kesehatan. Karakteristik penderita hipertensi yang berobat mayoritas tingkat pendidikan sekolah dasar, memiliki rerata TDSS, TDSM, TDDS, dan TDDM secara berturut-turut 150,27 mmHg, 152,35 mmHg, 87,18 mmHg, dan 86,59 mmHg, dan menggunakan terapi farmakologis secara teratur.  Karakteristik penderita hipertensi yang tidak berobat mayoritas tingkat pendidikan SMA/sederajat, memiliki rerata TDSS, TDSM, TDDS, dan TDDM secara berturut-turut 140,09 mmHg, 137,14 mmHg, 80,55 mmHg, dan 80,95 mmHg, dan tidak menggunakan terapi farmakologi maupun nonfarmakologi. Penderita hipertensi yang berobat maupun tidak berobat mayoritas berjenis kelamin perempuan, berada pada masa lansia awal, berstatus kawin, stadium hipertensi deratat II, tidak memiliki keluhan nyeri kepala dan rasa kaku di leher, memiliki riwayat keluarga hipertensi, tidak menggunakan terapi alternatif, porsi makan nasi dua sendok nasi, frekuensi makan harian sebanyak 3 kali, tidak ada beban pikiran yang berarti. Terdapat perbedaan antara penderita hipertensi yang berobat dan tidak berobat pada karakteristik pendidikan, rerata tekanan darah, dan penggunaan terapi farmakologi atau non-farmakologi
