KETERLIBATAN MAHASISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MBKM DALAM MEMPERKUAT KECAKAPAN KERJA UTAMA

Abstract


Dalam menghadapi disrupsi berbagai bidang kehidupan, maka inovasi pembelajaran diperlukan agar perguruan tinggi mampu menyiapkan lulusan yang unggul, terampil, cakap, kreatif, ulet, dan tanggap dalam merespon tantangan jaman. Menyikapi berbagai permasalahan dan tantangan yang terjadi pada tahun-tahun terakhir ini, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia kemudian menerbitkan kebijakan yang memberikan keleluasaan kepada perguruan tinggi untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran sesuai dengan potensi, tantangan, dan karakteristik masing-masing kampus dalam kerangka MBKM. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana intensitas keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis MBKM, dan bagaimana dampaknya terhadap pertumbuhan kecakapan kerja utama mahasiswa. Analisis deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menjawab permasalahan yang diajukan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan model pembelajaran yang berpengaruh sangat kuat bagi tumbuhnya keterlibatan belajar mahasiswa secara berturut-turut adalah pembelajaran berbasis kegiatan wirausaha, KKN Tematik, dan asistensi mengajar. Ketiga model pembelajaran berbasis MBKM menunjukkan peran yang sangat kuat dalam menumbuhkembangkan kecakapan kerja utama, yang meliputi: kecakapan menjadi manusia pembelajar, kecakapan komunikasi, kecakapan kerja dalam tim, dan kecakapan pemecahan masalah. Model pembelajaran yang paling kuat dalam menumbuhkembangkan kecakapan kerja utama, secara berturut-turut adalah pembelajaran berbasis kegiatan wirausaha, KKN tematik, dan asistensi mengajar. Perlu kajian lebih lanjut untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai faktor yang dapat memperkuat kecakapan kerja utama, yang sangat dibutuhkan para mahasiswa sebagai bekal memasuki bursa kerja kelak setelah lulus.
