EVALUASI SISTEM PENILAIAN PERFORMA RENANG MAHASISWA PROGRAM PEMBELAJARAN AKUATIK

Abstract


Penilaian hasil belajar menjadi salah satu bagian penting dalam sistem pembelajaran. Hasil penilaian selanjutnya dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan evaluasi untuk digunakan bahan tindaklanjut pembelajaran guna memperbaiki hasil belajar mahasiswa selanjutnya. Penggunaan penilaian process oriented dan product oriented dalam pembelajaran masih menjadi perdebatan. Untuk itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem evaluasi pada proses perkuliahan pembelajaran akuatik yang menggunakan kedua model penilaian tersebut. Artikel ini disusun berdasarkan hasil penelitian model deskriptif dengan sumber data dari mahasiswa program matakuliah pembelajaran akuatik. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, didapatkan sebanyak 136 mahasiswa (p= 55 dan L= 81). Data hasil penilaian performa renang dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik, korelasi, dan Anova. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi negatif antara penilaian berbasis product dan process (r= -0.283, p= 0.000). Terdapat perbedaan signifikan nilai performa mahasiswa secara progresif mulai awal tes sampai pada tes akhir (F= 158.77, p= 0.000). Artinya, hasil belajar mahasiswa berdasarkan penilaian process oriented dan product oriented layak digunakan. Selain itu, penilaian process oriented yang dilakukan secara progresif mendukung tercapainya hasil belajar mahasiswa.
